La Champagneria is a local favorite; it’s name promises something frilly and cute, but, in reality it is a cozy local winebar that happens to have an amazingly robust selection of “taglieri” wooden boards laden with either fresh seafood or charcuterie and wines, champagnes and prosecchi.

It is ideal for aperitivo, where you can enjoy a selection of small plates and transition into dinner (if you have room!). They have a fresh raw bar and plates of crudi or, for the landlubber, selections of cheeses, prosciutto and salame served with jams and fresh bread. For lunch and dinner they have a broad menu sure to please everybody.

Centrally located and almost always open , La Champagneria is a great little spot to meet and treat yourself.

La Champagneria è un locale preferito dei Triestini;  è un accogliente enoteca che ha una vasta selezione di taglieri vari, vini, champagne e Prosecchi. E’ un ritrovo ideale per gli aperitivi o “aperi-cena”.  Hanno un bar di pesce crudo freschissimo e, per chi non ama il pesce, selezioni di formaggi, prosciutti, salame serviti con mostarde. Per il pranzo e la cena hanno un vasto menu dove sicuramente trovi qualcosa di buono. La Champagneria si trova in centro ed e’ quasi sempre aperta. E’ un posto carino dove andare e “viziarsi” un poco.
