We’ve all been “good” for so long that Trieste is now gearing up for a little mischief! Halloween falls on a long weekend, and you can be sure that there will be no shortage of costumes and events here in town for everyone to have some long awaited fun. But remember, Green Passes will be required to attend all indoor events!
Many shops have stocked up on masks and costumes for ghouls and gals of all ages, but demand is high so make sure you get out early this week to pick up your disguise of choice. Most of the scheduled events will feature live music or DJ sets, masked events, cocktails and themed dinners where costumes are a must.






Events range from kiddies parties at the local malls to cocktail parties and dinners at the city’s more popular bars and restaurants. Check out their facebook pages for more information and reservations. Fun events for all ages are scheduled for the holiday weekend, among them;
Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 families can go to the shopping center, Il Giulia, where they can get their pictures taken with witches and monsters, and kids will receive a goodie bag.
On Sunday October 31st, from 3 pm to 7 pm, at the Tergesteo Citybar a children’s area will be set up with music, entertainment, sweets and a face painting. There will also be live performances by gymnasts, dancers and acrobats. The same Tergesteo Citybar will host a Halloween dinner party for the older set.
Caffe’ Tommaseo, the oldest historic bar and restaurant in Trieste is offering a Halloween themed dinner on Sunday October 31, featuring dishes inspired by the holiday and live music.
On October 30th, the Osteria del Caffè in via Carducci will feature a “Halloween Escape” with a spooky cocktail & tapas, buffet and an hourlong game session with prizes up for grabs. Reservations are allowed up to 24 hours in advance in the restaurant, at 375 540 6700.
A hot ticket is the Murder-Mystery dinner on October 3st at the Restaurant of the Golf Club of Padriciano. The setting will be an evening in 1961, The Mystery to be solved is the disappearance of a set of twins and guests will be required to solve the mystery. The evening will feature cocktails, dinner and music. The dress code is black and costumes and masks are optional.
7th Rooftop Coffee & Beer will feature Cocktails and a buffet dinner and music on October 31, you can visit their FB page to book.
Mast is having an “Electric Fear Night” Starting at 7 on Saturday October 30, featuring Guiseppe Rossi and Dado DSD.
There really are simply too many events to list, but a search on Facebook’s events page will bring up all events, big and small that are happening here in town. So it’s time to figure out your Halloween plans, but don’t wait too long, as reservations are selling out!
