I was born and raised in New York by an Italian mom and an American dad. Having traveled extensively throughout Europe for both work and pleasure, I always toyed with the thought I’d like to live in Italy for an extended period of time ….then in typical “careful what you wish for” fashion, my husband’s job relocated us practically overnight to Trieste Italy. Completely unknown to me and so different from everything I’d experienced to date, I have fallen in love with this jewel-box of a city and it’s people — so diverse, so welcoming, and so “simpatici”.  In coming to know this city, through new friends, I want to share with everyone the many things that make Trieste so special and unique.

Sono nata e cresciuta a New York con mamma italiana e papà  americano. Ho avuto la fortuna di viaggiare molto sia per lavoro sia che per piacere  e in quei viaggi ho conosciuto l’Italia abbastanza bene.  Tanto mi e’ piaciuta che ho pensato che avrei voluto vivere per un tempo prolungato in Italia …. poi, come per dire ” attento a ciò che desideri “, il lavoro di mio marito ci ha portati (con pochissimo preavviso) a Trieste. Completamente a me sconosciuta e così diverso da tutto quello che avevo vissuto fino ad oggi, mi sono innamorata di questo gioiellino di città e la sua gente – così diversi, così accoglienti , e così simpatici. Venendo a conoscere questa città , attraverso nuovi amici , voglio condividere con tutti le tante cose che rendono Trieste così bella e particolare.
